    VISION versus VIBES

Well done Des! some decent lizards for your efforts!
  2. Float fishing plastics for FH... That is definitely not something I've heard of before! It does make sense though. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
  3. I'm probably like most people been using right handed since i was a kid and it's what i know. I could try left handed but doing the right hand swaparoo after casting doesn't bother me.
  4. I only use cheap stuff so can't really help... But i think the Rod is more important then the reel if your casting big lures. TBH Cod wont be taking a huge runs. Something in a 200 size would be the go. I've been using a 150 size reel and from the kayak it's more then enough to tip me over if i put some hurt on it. I have a Savage Gear 200 Black reel i got from a mate before he left the country which will be more then enough to drag a Cod out.
  5. Great write up there Des! [emoji106] Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
  6. Might have to give it a go next time i re-spool my Bream stick.
  7. I may or may not have gone for a swim many years ago when a carp pulled my rod into the Torrens Lake in town. Saw it sliding down the bank and chased after it, drove in and grabbed the rod and fought the fish in the water until i got the bank. Handed the rod to Jimmy while i climbed out then finished fighting the fish landing it. Was pretty funny at the time.... Then the next day they closed the lake due to blue green algae outbreak. We might have gave a few Coopers Pales a nudge that session also.
  8. Could have done with that the other week.. One got me a beauty with the rakers, the kayak looked like a war zone from all the blood.
  9. They would make good kayak pants in summer too! [emoji848] Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
  10. I don't mind spending money on lures... But no fish is worth that much! [emoji54] Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
  11. Need more fisheries officers simple as that.
  12. Absolute Chit show but it was always going to go down like this, I've not bothered even going.
  13. I have been told of people using that trick to catch bream before and works well apparently. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
  14. Apparently that is Doobie... Tripped over his walking frame again. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
  15. Be interesting to see what they stock it with as they drained in last year for wall repairs.
  16. Doesn't look like it will be open to fishing tho? Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
  17. Where did you see that? I'm taking a break from FB so just been on the Google and couldn't find anything on it.
  18. Different presentation with the nedrig. The head having a flat end makes it stand up on its end where as a normal head the plastic lays flat. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
  19. Gulp camo worms or bloodworm will work. I've caught small ones as by catch on bloodworm TRD Crawz on nedrigs before.
  20. Interesting idea.... Might have to get one to try... P.S. post needs more boobies.
  21. How the held do you "drop" a snapper rack over the side?
  22. Very hard place to fish LB due to the weed which is pretty much all the way around. I'd be using plastics on a weedless head and just dealing with the weed each cast. Or suck it up and buy a kayak. [emoji6] Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  23. All the top bream comp guys in Australia use pro cure, so not sure how you come to that conclusion. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
