Idiots. Dare say if they are locals they will be copping it from all angles from the people in the town.

I'd actually like to see them do it with flathead like they do in the eastern states.

They have been getting hit pretty hard as usual. But the further you go towards the mouth the better the catch rate seems to be. Less people hammering it.

Head to SFS,Rays or Port adelaide tackle and grab some Diawa RPM Cranks while you can. Once those stores run out of current stock that is it apparently.

Nothing but quality there... can't wait to get on the water with you!

Bugger that suck mate. Never done any returns at Tackleworld but the guys are pretty good down there.

I got some 6lb J-Braid x8 grand on my reel this morning, damn it's thin i wont be trying leaders on without my glasses.  

Coffin Bay and the surrounds are worth a stop in.

I don't think you need a permit to come into S.A. So it was probably an automated thing.

Couple of us where talking about heading to Neds Corner (VIC) this weekend for the Cod opening but seems we still need a permit SA>VIC so to hard basket. Will just have to wait for the SA cod season to open at the end of the month i guess.

I've been using Finns for a while had no issues with it but time for a change. Been reading good things about the Grande x8. I've always used Berkley Vanish for leader on my lighter stuff once again no issues. Might look at the FC when i'm due for another spool, once again reading good things.

Finally got my AIRD-X combo today after dealing with Couriers Please... God they are hopeless!

Come with a 2000 reel i thought it had 2500 no biggy i guess.. More "finesses"  First thoughts a LOT softer then i thought so will see how it goes. It should be alright i guess, everyone seems to love these rods. I will go around the corner tomorrow and get some braid for it, decided on 8X Grande J-Braid.

I've got some 20lb Power pro on a 4000 set up. and it pains me every time i wind it in with some load on it. The noise of the "rope" going thru the guides would make baby jeebus cry.
