    Clarries?

Well done Ale. My boat is still a snapper virgin so any 45cm snapper bought on deck would be fantastic. An 85cm red regardless of tide, id be pissing my pants too  :woohoo:
  3. When squidding always have a tommy/mackeral teaser at the back the boat
  4. Garfish should be plentiful around this time of year.Drive about 3km straight out from the breakwater. There should be a number of other boats there.Burley up and you should get more than a feed of gar.I've found the last couple of times when i've gone out, the traces are alot longer. Generally around 3-4 meters.I have also noticed that the garfish down there school a little further back than metro. Im assuming its cos the current is alot faster. Also, keep a jag ready cos you do get nice size squid chasing the gar.Enjoy, good luck and hope this helps.Savage
  5. Need to admit this photo is probly one of the best. One hand holding the tackle and the other holding the rod!!!perfect technique :woohoo: :silly:

  9. Hey Khany,The old lady usually does this in the oven and wrapped in alfoil but i cant see why it couldnt in the GFG.I understand the GFG is for the 'fatty oils' to drip out but if the fish is fresh i cant see how it would be unhealthy. This would probly be more suited for Bream or Snapper.Leave the head on, cut say 3 slits on the outside of the fish, add a little salt to the outside and plant a few rosemary leaves in the slits.Inside the fish add:1 medium diced tomato (no skin) 1 or clove of finely chopped garlic (you could also add onion)a couple stems of rosemarya sprinkle of salt and pepperd
  10. The old boy would always take the family down to Second Valley (when there were no handrails and the gaps were as big as my shoe). Caught my first tommy at the age of 3 or 4. From then on the old boy would take me on the fishing adventure and leave my old lady and my sister at home
  11. Highyfly, not necassarily kick our ass but 9 times outa10 they'll always catch the biggest of the haul

  15. Sorry guys the site wont let me upload the photo's. They're JPG format and too big to upload.
  16. I would not be happy with that service. CK i like the way you operate my mates bought me a voucher for why not fishing charters for my bday. Im pretty sure Absolute have now bought that boat as why not have indeed moved to coffin bay with a much bigger boat but the experience was one that i will take to the grave. It was $175 at the time and it was an offshore trip. We had booked for Feb, 2006 and ventured out straight towards tapleys shoal. If nothing came up in 10 mins the deckhand would throw down a burley bomb and we were all on again (there were 10 on the charter). But just an indiacatio
  17. Ahhhh!!! I can see bone. Give me cable tie or something. Need to stop the blood flow.
