summer months mate november december are best.All year round down orkes though.Snook and bonito are top baits and mono coated wire will improve your chances aswell. a reel with a 500m line capacity of 15kg does the job.cheers tom

go to the north haven boat ramp. a heap of tommies there atm and might get the od ST.

they are mate but no too many.. went friday and copped the rain but managed 2 nice salmon around 1.5kg and a few trout. cheers tom

yeh i have absolutely no idea how my photos of my shark yesterday got to the media or who told them cause there was only like 10 people who saw the shark when landed. i believe there are snitches everywere as there was a random bloke taking photos with his phone cheers tom.

just thought ild throw this up. I was at semaphore jetty fishign for sharks the other day after that huge blow we had and managed an 8.5kg snapper on my bottom rod, i was stund to see it was a snapper when i hook it thought it may have been a solid litlle bronzie.

a m8 had 1 big run on a eagle ray flap at stenhouse, wuld hav been a nice bronzie but didnt hook it as the bait is so tuff to be able to set the hooks. if ur gona use it make sure hooks are well exposed.

heyim heading to sellicks beach this weekend and was woundering if any1 has caught anything there lately like salmon. A mate said he caught elephant sharks this time last year. just tryin to get some info to boost my confidence for the session.
