  1. I thought the magazine was great. I would like to congratulate our good friend Falcon (Christian Faulkner) for his article. I didn't know he could ever write such a good and humorous piece. This magazine really [i:30tep0l2]lured[/i:30tep0l2] me in by using articles from anyone and everyone. It really showed me that you don't have to be a professional fisherman/woman or journalist to be sharing your story. Can't wait to see what's in the next issue
  2. I am guessing most of us all are from South Australia? If not here is a low down. We are now in our 8th consecutive day of over 30degrees, and for the next week it's predicted to be over 30's again. If your like me and hate eating heavy meals in hot weather here is a quick and easy meal idea that is light fresh and tasty. My husband and I really enjoyed this dish. You can buy the marinated squid freshly made up by John West in the cool section with all the meats at COLES for under $5.00 which will feed 2people[u:28sqeu7q]MARINATED SWEET CHILLI SQUID. 3. Fred caught 4 n i wasn't too far behind on 3. I am ready for a good battle next time though.
  4. I bet she does too! Go Stacey {SMILIES_PATH}/grin.gifWell on Sunday we went out for 5 hours in the heat and caught very bad sunburnt arms and legs. We also caught 7 squid. 6 of those squid were caught in a time period of less than 2 minutes. It was quite funny actually. Josh was squirted all over his face by them and the boat was covered with black slime. But it was all worth it as we sat down that night and enjoyed a beautifully fresh meal of crumbed squid.Craving for more fishing. Hopefully not too far away http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/AapLogwa__P3020037.JPG[/img]
  5. Finally my husband and I have found the time to go out fishing tomorrow. Hopefully I'll catch some good keepers and have a few stories to bring back. Pink ugly stick will be at it again
  6. Its all about the skill. Its the way you cast out and make your bait land in a prime spot. haha.

    Stuck

I don't know if it's course i am a girl or what but I do enjoy fishing and having a fisherman of a husband I like to keep myself aware of what is happening in the fishing world. It is one of the major conversation topics my husband and I talk about. But when I come on here and try and make posts about fishing i just don't have anything to say about it. I mean I have a 7month old daughter so I dont get to go fishing as much as i would like to and when i do get the chance like on Saturday morning fred and I had organised a babysitter and we woke up at 6:30am and it was too hot to go.. Hopefully

  12. Is it just my husband who has everything fishing or are we in the same boat as other fishermen/woman??I woke up yesterday morning and decided to do some of my canvas art. I walked into the shed to gather and paint my canvas when i could barley walk 2 steps into our shed. Literally it was impossible to walk more than 1m away from the door. That was it, time to clean this crap up. 39degrees and in a tin shed I was moving everything out of the shed to start placing items in there all over again. My husband had a playstation 3 game he was busting to play but felt he couldn't just leave his wife ou
  13. My husband and I went to Tumby Bay a year ago on a mini honeymoon/fishing trip. Yes, the husband did pick the location and town of Tumby Bay. I thought I would be doing a bit of shopping while he went fishing most days not to realise until arriving in Tumby Bay it's all about the Fishing! How Romantic! The 1st day we arrived about 12pm after a early morning start to driving our 8hour trip. We checked in and straight away put our bags down. I am sure i was just putting the last bag down in the room and my husband was already getting our rods and tackle ready. We didn't go too far from where we w
