I always prefer the smaller kg they are a lot sweeter imo so the crew gets the biggies.The big breeders do take on a stronger iodine taste when they get ready for spawning and this is to do with their diet, i think there must be something in the cork weed that they need to kick their cycle into gear.My family won't even eat them when they are like that. cheers b

I removed it from small reels for the reasons you mention but i like it on the heavier gear,no problems with knots or tangles. cheers b

I just use an 8ft Catana and a Sol 2 or Caldia with 10lb Sunline....more suited to beach than rocks though because of the lift required cheers b -

I love the feel of some of the 13 rods you will see what i'm saying as soon as you pick one up , the psyborg feels great as well and has the skeleton grip,i just use Tspecs but i don't think you will find one any more and the newer rapalas are rubbish by comparison. cheers b
