have had a 750ss x2 850ss 650ss all but one of the 750ss died after a couple of small eaglys they were kaput gave them to my mates for spares . Then again my mates 950ss keeps going year after year with just small repairs now and then cheers PS looking to get 8500v for eaglies and small to medium bronzies for the up and coming surf shark season

Hi imho TLD50 lrsa with the slightly higher drag rating would be fine so you can run 650 of 50lb or 400 of 80lb and i agree 24kg to 37kg rod would be the go, Tiagra 37KG stand up or backbone elite 37kg but my personal choice when i get some extra cash would be a sabre or calstar 670h with about 3 to 4 inchs cut from the top custom made cheers
