  8. If u do decide u want to cross the gulf over to Ards rather than drive BF, Its not neccearily a stroll in the park so be prepared If its your wifes first time, a long trip might put her off for good ?Dont forget you need a decent sized boat to be reasonably safe, and ideally team up with another boat to be much safer, and dont forget your offshore Safety gear, including an EPIRB.Without this gear, you risk your safety and possibly others as well

  12. Is the Xtrail an all wheel Driver or a "standard " 4by ?Either way you've been wise by asking here, with a lot of knowledge and experience here Ive always used the rope and pnuematic Jockey wheel method myself, as there's just way too many stories of cars that just dont make it out past a rising tide, 4wd or 2wd :S The wind down spare wheel is a cracker of an idea. 15. You'd like to think that if anyone was aware of when sharks like to feed it would be a surf lifesaver , right ?So if this guys carrying on about the perceived danger posed by rec fishers, by allowing his kids in the ater at that time, he would seem to have some credibility problems imo  Isnt this the same SLSC person that's been anti shark fishing for quite some time too ?
  16. Plenty of shark action there Woody.Looked like the boat headed right into EWncounter Bay there at one stage
  17. While the shot may well have been touched up, it definiteley has an early-morning-light look to me :huh:I wonder why the face is pixilated ?To hide the potentially " guilty " angler or so the shot isnt as easily recognised
