    Not really a fan of braid in the surf myself kadava.Im told it doesnt like the sand too much, while mono will give u better abrasion resistance so keep that in mind if u start thinking of btaid It seems big mullies down that way are pretty rare so 100lb may be a bit much, and result in fewer bites.Schneider and maxima are a trusted brand, tho they may be made in China now

    Plenty of options for lighting out there on Google.Personally I'd like to have a permanently mounted light that could be swiveled around; that type dont seem to scrae the fish off as much as an above the water type imo.

    Good point FO, Its pretty ironic that the Fisheries department wants to get rid of them, spending millions in the process, but at the same time has a huge hatchery in each dam, which could be raising funds anyway, but I'm not gpoing to start saying fish them all out, coz it might start another massive debate thats been done to death waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many times

    Thats probably not that different to the bait-mate, but a bit more full-on FH.Have you caught fish with a stocking over the bait ?As Ranger insinuated, fish dont seem to bite well anyway when the lice are in large numbers, so theres often little point in avoiding them imo

    I dont think GG "gets it" that the boat simply isnt wanted here, period He's certainly good at not taking " NO" for an answer though ! Just done.Amazing how Mr Green is trying to say that his company has fished the area for years with no dramas.I think we're now talking a pretty different kettle of fish here tho. ( scuse the pun )
