cut one up the other day and it had nothing in it ,, thought it was a normal car battery so unless you know for sure that theres some thing in there i wouldent bother i drained the acid out and filled it with water several times and cut it open ,, total waste of time wouldent recomend it ,, cheers freddyboy

tell you what my tom tom (not cheap either) got me to my sisters door step in queensland well over 2000 km away without any hassels ,,, think you also have to know how to use it,,, but having said that it dident know where point lowly was reason might be no ones corrected it saying theres a road there which i have now done and has been reconized by computers updates,,, and driving around adelaide now isent such a nightmare either so im happy with mine cheers freddyboy

no im not i have a fisho mate that has a shack there in fishermans bay,, so ill be lodging there when we are not fishing,, he also has a boat there so i dont need to tow mine there ,,, will do a report on here when i get back,,,,,you shouldent have any problems getting gar ,,squid,,or crabs ,,, but if your fishing bottom like whiting or snapper then the stripies will be there by the millions unless you go out deep,,,cheers freddyboy

small bronzy i got last year ,,, reason im not in the photo is it was released so i left it in the water ,,, was fishing for kings and he grabbed the live squid and put up a reasonable fight for it size,, cheers freddyboy

i can remember mine as well was a long time ago when you could get 20lb+ snapper from the rocks in whyalla quite easy in them days and i still got the rod and reel i used only thing holding it togather now is gaffer tape,,, cheers freddyboy PS would have been in the late eighties

i was just kidding ,, but i do mine in a vice with a bolt and a couple of washers and two nuts that way i can lock the nuts on as tight as i want the tension to be to take line of the spool can can do this with almost any spool ,,cheers freddyboy PS invest in a vice rather then a cordless drill you might have better success

if he would have taken the handle off the reel and hooked the drill to it he wouldent of had to wind,, drill would have done that for him ,,,cheers freddyboy

im a bit like waterboy i dont catch enough whiting to worry about scaling them ,,, but i do use it very often for squid i dont like ink in my boat so 15 squid in a bag cleans them good even if it dose pull the heads off it saves me doing it ,,,,and i dont use 2 nets one is ok and i havent lost a single squid yet the idea is not to drive like a cowboy just enough speed to get the bag on the plane usually use 5meters of rope ,,, cheers freddyboy

i got myself a heap of sinkers from ebay smaller size because the larger snapper sinkers were so expensive,,, so decided to make my own worked out a lot cheaper,, im known to go through sinker regulary cheers freddyboy

i do had one going since 1992 just a dairy of what ive caught and time ,tides etc etc and always take pictures if i dont forget the camera,,,cheers freddyboy
