do yourself a favour & get on a charter. Last time I was up there (2 years ago) I went on a reef charter in 5m seas. We got so many different fish I was buzzing. Snapper, red snapper, pearl perch, trevally, sweet lip & cod. Then we got onto some cobia & some sharks. The sharks were too big to boat. I'm going up there again next May & I'm already counting the days.

Expect a defect notice & $180 fine for the rod holder. Speaking from experience.
