Adamw,After years of trial and error jigging for Samsons and Kings and a lot of reaserch and advice from tackle experts this is how we now rig our customers up. I am not saying it is only way to do it but if done carefully and properly it's hard to beat.We start with a 50 turn bimini twist in your mainline (braid). A quality wind on leader is then attached and wound onto the reel. At the end of your wind on we crimp a suitable size quality ball bearing swivel. Once you have completed this attach a suitable size Owner split ring to the swivel. You will need a quality set of split ring pliers fo

I find it amusing some just can't accept that this is a big squid. I assume those non beleivers prefer pics of fish on those pathetic brag mats or hanging from a set of scales.Maybe I used the same trick photography in these photo's.

He caught it on a bait meant for snapper. Didn't eat it. We thought it would provide 12 months worth of whiting bait.

I have seen a few calamari in my time but this one takes the cake. Caught off Pearson Is I assume it has been feeding on 6 week old grain fed calves and all the roadkill from Pt Lincoln to Elliston.

Just when you think you've seen it all. On Saturday a juvenile Broadbill Swordfish turned up at the Pt Lincoln Marina. Wouldn't that be a nice landbased capture.3423432http-~~-//[IM

What a great way to finish of a great season. This King went 43.8kg weighed in a sling. What is in store for next year.
