dmck got a reaction from AuusieDave in Good Camping/Fishing Spots
Try Port Minlacowie, cupla K's north of Hardwicke. Camping area about 600m Sth of the boat ramp- no facilities. Very rocky coast, good for squid, gar, tommies. I have seen Kingies and hammer heads in close.
Or Mozzie Flat, 20Km due west of Edithburgh. Free camping with no facilities. Camping good behind sandhills, fishing difficult with southerlies blowing.

DAmned good question... I have a number of old batteries too......

Thanks guys, yes quite often come across them in the rivers.. here's one from the Mersey River when I was fishing, it sat there until I took it's photo then moved off.
It's really great to see them when fishing the rivers, I've had them swim between my legs on several occasions, I just remain motionless so they don't notice any movement.
cheers
Adrian

dmck got a reaction from Lexi in Spinning reel discombobulation in Australia
THe Coriolis effect works on reels too!!!
Actually, I have always held my rod/reel in left hand and wound with my right. winding with my left hand is really awkward.
