  1. Can't wait for your expertise knowledge
  2. Never used it, nor do I recall seeing it - will have to look a little harder. Thanks Des.
  3. Glad to hear your back/ribs have improved enough to be able to get back in the rivers - but take it easy
  4. Good to see you found they were there. Yep, practice is needed for them - a skill I don't have lol
  5. It will probably all work out in the end. But if it doesn't, but it works for you, then you are the 2022 SH footy tipper winner - congratulations in advance
  6. Yes hopefully Adrian. Have had Bjorn look at it and he also agrees it does look different - at this stage anyway. Tips can still be made, but whether it 'attaches' to SH members, we will have to wait and see.
  7. I think there is an issue on the SH tipping site, where the 'Tip Now' takes you to the tipping for the whole site - will try and sort.
  8. They are great, peaceful creatures and lovely to watch in the wild. Thanks Adrian
  9. The 2022 AFL season will start on Wednesday March 16th. If you would like to join the Strike Hook Footy tipping for 2022, you will to either join up (free) or sign in. There are no prizes - just bragging rights This link will take you to the SH / ESPN footy tipping site (https://www.footytips.com.au/competitions/?competitionId=140688&ff=ladders) .... click on "TIP NOW" (in red) which will require you to Sign In or Join Up (hopefully all works) Good Luck
  10. You could glue the wood/spikes to bottom of shoes and aerate any lawn you have Take a while though lol
  11. Howdy and welcome to site - lots of info here, so enjoy looking through. I'm not sure if you can get sand worms from Sellicks (maybe wrong), but there a lot rocks/pebbles along the beach (more noticeable when sand has been washed away after some rough weather). Plus vehicles harden it all up too. Maybe Silver Sands bch (but may have hidden rocks/pebbles also). Aldinga bch there would be a chance. Can get them at Port Willunga (north end), Maslins bch (definitely north end ) and Moana bch (south end) Good luck and I'm impressed you're trying for them - hard buggers to
  12. Gooo CAAAARRPPPP Interesting also how the early activity seemed to slow down later on.
  13. Yeah .... nah .... I wouldn't have jumped in. Expensive for sure to lose some quality stuff, but no way would I jump in to retrieve it. Courage for doing it though
  14. Loch Ness maybe rearranged the tins effing bugs
  15. Congratulations Adrian on your 11,000th trout - a great, no, a mammoth achievement. Another great video and footage
  16. You are blessed my son Kill as many fish as you can.
  17. Hell, I could have done all that stuffed up mess for half the price But, it is a waste of a lot of money for no real improvement - if any. Such a shame that it could have been an enjoyable ramp to launch from. Can't wait to see how they mess up the Sullies ramp whenever it gets done
  18. Did wonders on the Gar/Tommies today
  19. Yes, technically. But they have turned a blind eye (that I have witnessed twice) if using slithers of red meat/chicken or mince as bait on a hook.
  20. I suppose you could give them a go but wouldn't think too big. After all, a successful lure is the Sugapen 95 and that is longer (but not cheap). The 70mm is worth having too. The best thing is to have a range of sizes and types - on the day, what doesn't work another might. Have a look at these posts by mikecatts - he has a range of lures of lures that may help in what to have in your kit.
  21. Yep Should be about $6-7. Tackle shops will have them (not bcf etc) so shouldn't need to order (unless you have too). Can get with some frilly things on the end as well, but wouldn't really bother.
