Hello fellow Hookers,I got my self a new toy!!As some of u know i was hunting for a new rod to suit up with my Abu Ambassaduer 5600 C4I went to my local Tackle world a saw me mate Kym and he guided me towards this beautiful rodwhich i procceded to go on and buy. Its a DAIWA Coastal Inshore Special. 7.0" graphite with fuji blanks, got a light tip but also has plenty of guts down the business end. It has such a great balance when i put the reel on and it feels great! I threw a few lures around at rapid bay just to use it and i cant wait to put it into some serious action soon!anyways, just wan

Just a quick question, When do you like to use Mono as opposed to braid and why? I hear braid is not as popular these days and people are heading back towards the ol Mono line!

so,ive got this reel that i got from my cousin brand new a few years back thats been sitting on my shelf un- partnered with a rod and reel.its a baitcaster Abu Garcia Ambassadeuer 5600C4I hear its quite the cracker of a reel!! only prob is, im not too sure whats the ideal use for it and what to team it up with in regards to line and rod!so please help me out with some advisecheers

Definantly will be sitting out those cold nights with some good old green ginger wine to warm up the insides whilst sitting and waiting on that zip of a big jewie running off with my bait!! im prob gna try the port, west lakes, and the onk.i have never landed one so that aint a hot tip!! also some good times ahead chasin those battlers we call ST's off the beaches and through out the port. love catchin ST's prob a spot of mully fishing too, head down yorkes for that!really just getting out there and giving anything a go!

Gday,i have recently come across the theory of fishing by the solunar tables which is fishing according to the sun and moons position rather than the tidal movements. it sounds really interesting and i am thinkin bout giving it a crack for a few months or so to give it a chance. so i am asking the question to our community....1. does anyone fish by the solunar calender? 2. has anyone had success from the solunar calendar?3. what are ur thoughts on the solunar calendar?any insight to this theory would be greatcheers guys
