  1. It was always going to happen! Its a working jetty and they simply cant take the gamble of letting irresponsible fisherman trash and potentially burn the place down. Sad but expected!
  2. Maybe i used the wrong word hahahaha. The long rod gives you that extra foot or 2 to help play the fish out!short rod............ 0 chance
  3. the key to landing big fish on a jetty is a longer rod 10-12 foot! it gives you more leverage to keep them away from the polls
  4. yep i can confirm i have caught big bream and a couple of carp out of there........ this was all before the fence was put around it,have not and wont enter there now the fence is up!
  5. in!!! u can send me the prize now if u like lol

  8. hi got bad news for ya!!! i was there on sun the jetty was closed at the gates halfway your not allowed to fish beyong the gates anymore!!! they are sick of dickheads trashing the jetty so they have closed it and wont let any1 fish the end no longer sad day for port giles fishos
  9. yeah ur not wrong mate those rays at ards are massive things and also port giles have monsters too
  10. st kilda of fthe end or up the top on the right hand side squid is the best you could easy catch 3 or 4 massive ones a night most close to 50kg or even the odd horse 100kg plus which i have caught out there a few times
  11. hi guys i was out in the boat on sun morning fished about 30k out and the swell picked up so decided to try a spot about 10k from the stkilda ramp, after fishing for about 2 hours we seen a boats signal a flare there was probably 20 boats all within 1 kilometer of eachother!!! it probably took us a min or so to notice and started talking about it and made up our minds in a flash to head over, when we got to the boat the guy said he has lost all his electrics and asked to use our radio which was no probs we let the coast guard know and they said they would be on the way.... so we waited the whole
