tons of razor fish in the port river, spoke to a guy at the boat ramp he had buckets full, only had a tiny little boat an 12 litre tank so its in the port river.

any particular spot at marino rocks ? or anywhere ? ive tryed marion bay for 3 nights got nothing

thats awsome, i caught one a year ago an it put up a hell of a fight, an all i wanna catch is rays cos they fight hard, i dont keep them or anything just for fun an let them ago, just hard for me to catch them, its like they knwo when im going fishing an they all piss off

i have heard about some big local out that way but its hard to land them to get a photo i have some strong gear that would hurt alot of big fish but never have any catchs

i have a tekoda 700 on a t-curve tyrnos rod, awsome set up weights nearly nothing, i have skull dragged 60-70cm snapper at the oil leg with ease

i cant believe how hard it is to catch a ray ive bagged out on 60+cm snapper, KG whiting easyer than trying to get a ray

its a terrible way to go thats for sure, an its always hard times when losing a family member too, but we have to remember we are in the sharks territory its their home,we as humans live the land an we kill everything on the land so a animal will do the samedont mean anything nasty or bad just think its something we should always remember

if this rain stops, going to try at the power station, what type of burley do i use to get these door mats around ?fishing where the water comes of the station isnt there poles around an boats that are in the way ?

another 6 hours today in the port river , so ive fishing from the platform to the end just crabs everywhere, sub corp as far as i can go either side of it, in total ive dont about 48 hours an nothing , starting to think that there are no ray's in the port river

i dont like fishing for anything else , i wanna hear my rachet go off screaming i tryed fishing for shark for a year didnt get anything trying the ray's now an still not having luck i seriously think im doing something wrong or im not meatn to fish

been off the platform an all along the outta habour channel off the rocks a few times, the whole time been hassled by crabs eating my bait :(been opposite the quartine station along side the sub corp spent about 8 or more so hours got nothing as well, MUST BE DOING SOMETHING WRONG

squid as bait ? an ur talking about walking out to the end of the rocks ? an fishing to the right side ? isn't the channel markers a problem when hooking something that will run ?
