  1. Hit me up then man. I have a busy next week.. but after that have some time spare. All you have to do is make it to Goolwa with ya fishing gear and I'll take us from there. Let me know.
  2. Biggest I have landed here is a 52cm ( I have heard whispers of bigger and I believe it - but you know... photo's or it didn't happen right ? ) But the section of the coorong that I fish over 40cm is the norm more so than the exception. Always keen to take crew for a flick around my area. As long as your cool and don't go bringing heaps of mates down with you the next weekend
  3. that would save a drive It costs me a bit more than postage to drive up metro in the 4wd from Goolwa. Cheers man
  4. Anglers choice, that would be where ole Pete works. He's a good bloke - heaps helpful and knows his stuff too. Thanks heaps Kuerschie
  5. Been looking for the receipt most of the day with no luck. Im pretty bad with that kind of stuff I just have the original box. I doubt it will be too expensive for a screw right ?
  6. Much appreciated Ale - this place rocks Ill get in touch with him now. ( is he a member here Ale or should i give him a bell at BCF ? )\ I live at goolwa BTW.... If they don't cost much and are sold at BCF I'd probably head to noarlunga. What about that tackle shop at pt.elliot ? They have a good store ?
  7. Was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of where I can obtain a replacement screw for my stradic fj 2500 ? The screw connecting the handle to the reel came loose and vanished into the depths last fishing mission. Loving the reel... it is has a beautiful feel. What do people think about a little bit of loktite on the thread to stop this from happening again. And as a sidethought would this maybe be covered under warranty ? The reel was bought from BCF less than 6 months ago.

  10. No pictures of the 52cm model. He was caught and released without photo's. Measured against the tackle box, so you will have to just take my word on that one fellas . This fish was released soon after. We do keep a few of the smaller ones as I love eating them ! Here is another pic
  11. I found heaps of models that dump bait online, but none that were self righting, submersible and saltwater proof. Are we using a different search engine or something Archer ?? Thanks heaps for that mate, ill go check those links out now.
  12. Anything that will do the job Kingsley. Looks like the contiki would cut the mustard but I can't seem to find a vendor for them either.Very surprised that with the popularity of surf fishing in Oz that we dont have something available here. A good niche market for someone with the skills and know-how to exploit. Hopefully someone here can steer me in the right direction
  13. Im living down Goolwa and am gearing up for the upcoming mulloway run ( can't wait )anyway, I found this youtube video of this remote controlled surf boat that could drop my baits out way past the breakers at the mouth without me having to wade out to my chest to cast half the distance. Problem is that i cant find anywhere to purchase them through the net !!!! It's frustrating the s&%t out of me. Has anyone seen them or had any experience with them ??? I want one real bad.here is the link to the video of one of these lil' puppies in action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8Vf4ucM_Y8help m
  14. we were just using 2 longshanks on a paternoster rig ( about 12 pound braid and 5-6 pound leader - ( not sure without going out to check the tacklebox actually. just a couple of amateurs getting lucky with a few big ones )) . We had cockles, prawns, squid and pillies but the cockles seemed to be the favourite bait the last week or so. I expect them to be around in big numbers until the next big freshwater release from the barrages. Hopefully I can up him a cm or two tomorrow !!
