So have you fished that specific area? You know that little area i mentioned in the first post?Boat fishing Brenton. I know some large flathead are available from the shore there.
  3. Gday.Has anyone fished the area between the breakwater and stanvac jetty? I understand there is a 400m exclusion zone around the jetty. I fished in there a few years ago and managed a heap of squid which got me thinking maybe the snapper might like to hunt in there also....Any advice or tips?
  4. I agree with Piranha. If some of these local shops advertised how much mark-up was on some products we would be horrified. I know for a fact 250% on some clothing items I looked at. If the wholesaler can import and distribute these items (and make a profit)for a price, say $30 why should they charge $90 in store???I know this was one example but it just goes to show the world is changing and old business practices need reviewing thanks to the www.
  5. Thanks for the replies. Looks like they will be a last resort and Ill stick with the proven baits. Cheers!
  6. I know fresh is always best but these would be very handy to stash away in the tackle box for those last minute trips.
  7. Gday Guys.I know its a tad early for the Garfish but I was wondering if anyone has been using these with success. I bought some to try and Im keen to hear if they have any followers.
  8. Thanks for the replies. Problem sorted.
  9. www.fcc.gov/mb/audio/bic...MSS-decimal.htmlI am new to gps but from what I can work out there are 2 types of coordinates being used. The link I posted is a converter from one type to the other.Im sure somebody that knows for sure will be along soon.....
