for small reels up to 2500 I use 6lb with varying lb leader depending what im fishing for or if i'm just chasing trouties or bream just tie off of the main line, 6lb breaking strain if fished properly is ample especially with the new tech gear available cheers 4THA

the new berths cop it hard when it gets wild down there the actual extension is bugger all but would certainly dull the force of the waves coming straight up into the berths as it currently is

Any sized owner tournament inline circle from 4/0-10/0 I mainly use the 10/0's now and catch all sizes on em my lip hook rate has never been better Just leave plenny of tha hook exposed either running or paternoster style Cheers 4THA

hey'a waspy as ya said,all personal choice mate I started off with the cheaper style as you have purchased, but fishing with others over time that had the flashier style rods --whippier in the tip, lighter etc. they were out fishn me big time I was offered a shot on a custom made rod specifically built for lure fishing and the results were instant the accuracy on cast and action made that much more difference especially casting into pylons and snags, I just couldn't get the distance on cast with my old stick and reel my budget didn't stretch as far as a custom rod and high end reel but I we
