Here's a couple of pics I took at Moonta over chrissyfirst pic is what I find most my clickers & mantis shrimp in,a lot of holes in close proximity a quick short pump in bout half a foot see's best results for me.the second pic with the squiggly lump tends to hold some form of fat wormy thingo.Cheers 4THA

Found this write up elsewhere hope it helps it should say on the side of your reel spool or box how much it can take of what lb line I usually put more mono backing on just enough to cover the spool metal as the braid will need enough layers of mono to 'bed down' on . I generally put on 12-15lb mono - depending on the size of the reel .Whether the reel is a standard, conventional type or if it is a braid specific reel if the reel is designed for braid then the recommended capacity should be fairly accurate.A starting point is to look at the reel specifications and the recommended line capac

Managed to knock up a feed today with moggy &hsv Hsv hooked a gar which then got swallowed by a bronzie which then in a calamity of errors was lost boat side due to a recently purchased ego 2 slider net breaking into 2, prety pissed off moggy got it on video not sure what its like as havnt had chance to watch it yet was funny on his gar rod though--mog dropped a near on metre snook today ,also on his gar rigCheers 4THA

I wonder if they will eventually change the school holiday period to help the townships that rely on the huge number of tourist that flock to have their annual schnapper fix.Will be interesting to see how the townships react !!!   14. Moggy took me out yesterday got some decent reds was super calm at first then super rough after that I set tha hooks on something that nearly spooled the Calcutta 400 in under a minute drag was Maxed out and hatin me ? Who knows Cheers 4THA

  16. single patternoster, size 2/4 long shank hook above sinker, since the limit of kg's per person has dropped to 12 fish using 2 hooks means i can only drop it to tha bottom 6 times if i get double headers whiting whackers are crap and never use burley keep it simple cheers 4THA
  17. sweet combo Nanman you weren't that bloke that won the 50 mil in xlotto by chance, buying gear like that :silly: i have enough trouble bringing my self to part with a coupla hundred for a t-curve and stradic combo just to chase snapper, would be a different story though if there was something worth chasing out here. cheers 4THA
  18. Do not use WD-40® or any degreaser, as it will cause premature wear and tear on the internal parts of your reel. which makes me think that wd40 eats away the reel grease over time ??
