  1. Thanks guys - could explain the hallucinations - thought I saw a kingfish in West Lakes!!
  2. I was hoping sonmeone could ID this for me. It was about as big as tennis ball.Caught off Semaphore
  3. Have the 475 myself with a Honda 75 on the back and love it. Very stable and very roomy. Have mates with cuddy cab 18ft'rs (other makes) and I reckon I've got more workroom than them. Can't comment re spray as I've got the bimini with clears etc (see avatar) but even then they don't get that wet.
  4. Sorry Trouta, must admit I never got your mail But i'm too late anyway. I suck at this so I won't be making a donation to your paid comp! Good luck anyway
  5. Cheers Brenton - gave this a shot last night and not a bad result. I think I'll be honing down that butter knife though!
  6. Gott agree - had mine for near 30 years now. A dab of grease and i think I might have replaced a spring once too. Been dropped in the surf a few times and still goes like a bomb. Thoroughly recommended,
  7. Yeah great work on the vid - you sure you're not in that game full time
  8. Well done to the winners and thanks Trouta for setting it up. Hopefully I will be able to give you blokes a better run for your money next year.
  9. Fellas, this is all great stuff but as a matter of interest, what's the knot (or knots) of choice being used here?
  10. Take Ranger's advice and ignore. The amount of comment activity these articles get only encourage these twits. We all know they're out there - imagine what their kids are going to turn out like!!! (that's if they are allowed in the sunshine (might get burnt),breathe the air (ooh the pollution) or converse with any outside their own tribe (might be a child molester)
  11. Guys, this is all great stuff as I am new to live baiting full stop and want to have a crack on those Mulloway. Cheers
  12. Take the prospective Father in law out in the boat - back to ramp. Boat half on and winch cable snaps. In panic trying to find something to complete the job - manage to lock car keys in boot. Now, boat half in, half out, car and trailer on ramp, can't move, people trying to come in, launch.Crap. :c
  13. Fantastic tips. Thanks heaps
  14. For what it's worthOliver used to be a sporting goods brand (in fact I think they were the first to market Totem Tennis) and I think they dabbled in fishing gear for a while.I use an Alvey 650c off the beach. Easy as pie to use and the best thing is if you drop in the sand/water - no big deal - easy to clean and simple to maintain.Cheers
