  1. thanks fellas, have read that article, was after i guess users thoughts comments what works etc, advice on techniques/colors brands.. but it is a very good article indeed
  2. Thinking of trying out some blade type lures west lakes from the yak saturday , anybody got any tips on how to work/use these, what success they have had on em , which brands/colors work best. thanks for any help
  3. Chuck thats an extraordinary bream mate, awesome footage too, well done. you condisered charging for tuition, seems to be so many people asking so many questions about plastic on every fish forum, yet you seem to knock over big fish on plastics, with regular monotimy!freak!
  4. hey , been banging a few salmon trout on the head lately in the port, but have only had luck with bait, was wondering if anyone has had much luck on lures, with them and which lures seem to do the trick , thanks
  5. i knew they were both aggressive & territorial, given how hard they hit lures for there size , but this is just outright bullying !check it out
  6. Bream, whiting-sand & Kg ,Salmon trout, trumpeters (do they actually count) ,flounder, puffers (again do they count) , flathead, small snapper, ,weird ass axolottle looking thing, and 2 cuttlefish id never ever even seen a cuttlefish , then got 2 in a row.. .weird looking dudes!. 8. ran out of gents, whilst camping / fishing at rapid bay , used rice bubbles, managed to get a few gar . [glow=red,2,300]weird![/glow]
  9. ;D you didnt read the product disclosure statement did you? , ...oh dear.. i think you are about to be plagued by a school of undersize bream when you deposit that special superplastic twin tail grub into the competitive market of west lakes. Its a shallow stock pool , but one that has many suprises.good luck written and spoken by plasticman , before making a decision on you stocks and fishing investments. always consult the pds. (hmm me thinks i may have left out that before)
  10. Ecogear & Bassday would do really well in a volatile market , they are a standout product ,and people want em. the consumables in the long term , will ,make a recovery , and in the warmer months can see them getting snapped up at a rate of knots. Mangrove decoration is a common experience this time of year, and whilst it can install large amounts of panic in some newcomers, my advice to you superanger is hang on too your stocks ,tidy up your gear, do your homework and go over your entire portfolio, soon enough the market will swivel around, and you will benefit from the advice of ........
  11. Ha!As the bottom has fallen out of the superlureation market (love it!!!) , , i suggest you hang on to em , for the foreseeable future, Maybe when the tax cheques come in , and the days get longer finer calmer, you can release some of the equity in your 2nd hand gear and start up a new managed fund, may i suggest reinvesting in companies such as halco, berkley , storm, rapala , to name a few, Remember that due to rising prices of fuel, bread , milk, lines are tight , and come the finer calmer weather , im sure the interest rate of many will increase dramatically
  12. buff same habit different forum , good to cya mate. ... remember if ya need a 3rd 4th or are you up to your 5th mortgage to pay off ya lures im ya man!Bboy! (now plasticman) .
  13. i make my own spinners for freshwater stuff , (reddies etc) and use both nail polish , & a a clear varnish ..(posh eh!) and never had any troubles with fish smelling them, they even worked on slimy macks , & salmon trout in the salt, so i guess the answer is no... that or they have a kinky fetish for acetone!
