You are doing the burley exactly how I did it...all I can add is, place a freezer bag inside the pipe and when you want to use the burley, leave it in the bag and just stab a couple of holes in it to slow the dispersal rate down.

Just came back from BigW and saw they had the 'ice box style' of esky for under a hundred bucks for a 62ltr. I'm on a budget and if the thing was any good, I would save half the money. Anyone have one of these and what's your opinions on it?

Thanks for the replies guys. Will check into some of these esky's mentioned. I guess preparation is also the key when It comes to the Ice I'm putting in the esky's in the first place. I will freeze my own blocks now, but I still will invest in a better ice box also

My esky,( only a willow in 55ltr) only keeps the ice for a few hours, then it's all melted..I guess, 'you only get what you pay for' rings true here. Granted, I have a Tinny and the esky is in full sun but surely the ice should last longer? What do you guys think of the ' ice box' type of eskies? And what would you recommend in around 60 ltr capacity?

Need to put all the ocean cams on a 'sticky post'.

Shit, was only like $20-$30. Mine is the smaller model 2-4KG but a larger model came as a combo. I haven't seem them there for a while (Munno Para Kmart) but I keep looking because ill get another for a back-up.

I love my cheap and nasty Shimano tele rod!! (Kmart special). I have it in my backpack when I take out the motorbike and have a pack of soft plastics on hand too. You never know where you'll end up on an enduro bike Ps. 'ME TED' hit the nail on the head... Couldn't have said it better myself.

Ok I'll throw something up for shits and giggles! I found an old tackle carry case the other day from many years ago full of all of my favourite hard bodied lures i used from way back when. All the hooks were pretty much rusted off and need replacing but the bodies were still in good condition. Anyway, I used the swimming pool to see just how well they swam compared to some new model types I have from recent times and was shocked at just how well these lures, mainly Abu Killer types ( two piece ones) and the mighty Rapala Magnums, ( my all time favourites) swam. I love the old style lures and

Absolutely terrific footage of the next up and coming angler! I love taking my kids out on the water and looks like your boy loves it too.

I would have to say Ray n Anne's. was just in there shooting the shit about " the good old days" and just looking around. Don't know the chaps name but a top bloke and all too willing to help you out with whatever dumb question ( and I have a lot) you might have
