Ay bud you can also use a large fish frame or something similar and by swishing above the holes when the wash comes over and wait for em to come up and try n eat it then slowly from behind push your fingers into sand then grab em by head slowly pull em out with a slight wiggle. Takes time but you will get em. Once you have fired them up in one spot it wont take real long bud. Blood worms love piles of rotten seaweed dig under there and you should find em champ. It works at pt mac for me.

Ay bud are you using circle hooks. If not use em there great for that sort of thing. If they bite it you will pin em in corner mouth deep then there buggered normally.

They look a bit like the halco twisty for salmon so iam guessing it would work on them also bud.
