I think my fav would be my Wilson FSU 6144..Had it for over decade - its caught sharks, xos mulloway, casts a 6oz sinker and a slab of flesh as far as I need it..Although some would say it's a heavy rig to use i'm used to it and at least I know im not going to have a problem if if I hook something that needs a bit more pressure to stop...Coupled to a genuine penn 9500ss its an old fashioned pleasure to use...

I used to sit in the coffin bay channel fishing for kingies and snapper and catch fresh octopus on a small jig..

Went down a couple of times yesty, (not cockling) but saw heaps doing it - Just a word - try to pick low tide - saw heaps yesty floundering about at high tide not getting much - and then there was the seasoned pro's there in the late arvo cleaning up (because the tide was out) - gave them a lot more active area to work....

yeh mate was going to say some of those google maps are up to 8 years old....Nearmaps will give you the most up to date fotos...

mate, basically, as long as your vehicle is reliable, you'll be right - the first time - you'll work out what you need and dont need - after that its easy....fishing gear (that includes gaffs/knives - burley stuff rods reels hooks etc)bait/ice/eskysFoodCooking stuffSleeping stuff / tent / swag / mattress whichever way you choosecar stuff / spares and safetypersonal stuff..sunscreen/ fly screen/ etc...Everyones different so you'll work it out...Oh, and make sure you have a spare "iced" esky for fillets! yeh, done both - towed a trailer the times i took the quad and freezer etc. - lol - i dont tow a trailer anymore....Just the basic necessities now....Towing a trailer is a real drag! especially on the offroad bit....Again, if you choose to tow a trailer make sure it's ready for the offroad onslaught...Its amazing how much you can fit in a mid size 4bie anyway....

gday mate,,,,,,anything!!!!I"ve had one for 15 years! and its still doing the hard yards....Same as red - wouldnt sell it for quids.....you got a good reel there mate, it'll do anything for you (fishing wise)....Mine is my mully go to reel.....
