  1. 89cm wading Franklin Harbour. Was mad on my 1-3kg stick, 5lb and only 8lb leader on! Never seen anything like it before or since. Perhaps for the boaties? P1010970.JPG P1010969.JPG That is a solid Snook! Would've been crazy on a 1-3kg rod haha.
  2. That is my next target too. I think the step from 42-43cm to 45cm is the real challenge. Very rarely you see photos or reports of the really big Bream, but around, and just over 40cm are way more common. A fish around that 45cm mark would have to be around 30 years old. Would be awesome to see. First legal Mulloway in the Onk. Have never specifically targeted them but will attempt it soon. Flathead 50cm+ would be sweet. Again, haven't gone out specifically for Flathead but have caught them targeting Bream in the surf. 85cm Snook - probably not anything to brag about. I'm sure man
  3. Thanks for all your replies everyone, much appreciated!
  4. Yes it is. Not sure what's so good about it but happy to hear what you think Thanks for the info mate! I know what you mean about how it doesn't slide nicely... so annoying.
  5. Hey guys, A quick question. What is the main thing you look for when choosing a fluro leader? I find most people focus on the weight rating rather than the diameter. I have seen 6lb leaders with a smaller diameter than 4lb and the price doesn't necessarily indicate which is thinner/stronger. Are the known brands better for any reason? Looking at 6lb fluro Daiwa line now that's rated at 6lb with a diameter of 0.215mm however, I have a cheaper Tforce xps fluro with a rating of 2.575kg (almost 6lb) but a diameter of only 0.164mm. What would make the Daiwa line more expensive or better? A
  6. I've been at the Pat twice very recently, starting before sunrise with surface lures and soft plastics and got nothing. Not even a hit... Don't know when the Bream will start up again.
