  3. 2 crabs...not gonna go far? thks for the cooking tips ive struggled to get em right tried BBQ and dep fry also but they shrink.... also saw em at fish market $20 kilo? crazy can get t bone for that....def been a good season for crabs this year..
  4. went out and 8am - 10 am 24 big crabs so really happy wind got too bad and also crabs slowed down so a good morning it was had extra time to finally polish the boat... so def lots still around
  5. right now its 50/50 if we go to illusions have GF and her cousins wanting to go weather looks good for monday and tides perfect yet millions of crazy holidayers with kids on the roads?? mmmmmmsybe? might need to toss a coin as for crabs off early fri Am to see whayt happens got a big box of whiting heads so eaither way they will be used cheers

  8. can anyone advise if theres still crabs at st kilda...last trip was 1 mth ago and was a nice low 30s which I know seems to produce more larger crabs... didnt want to waste time if theres just undersize specimens..

  11. Hey guys yes pt B 35 ks about 45 mins trip and yes do not go out when weather says southerlies in the arvo. I went once and coming back was a shocker. Sunday arvo when I returned it was glass...just cruised back in about 40 mins as my boat does around 45 kms / hr wish I had a 150 honda though....The charters do hang around but seems to move alot?? I sat in the one spot and moved once when tide changed..The trick is big bait...I found a fish outlet where I buy a 5 kilo box of whiting heads for $5 mixed with some squid....wait for the big strike....awesomme spot and worth the
  12. hi all my sunday trip was great again sat near the wreck from 9 am to 3 pm watched charters come and go as they do...and got 2 7 kilo snapper and some nice 50 -55 cm also..Said hello to the white pointer..tried some new rigs I got from Fishermans paradise and they performed..
