Thanks heaps for identifying it! defiantly a Thornfish or Dragon net. Was racking my brain trying to figure out what it was. I think it was there because It was quite close to a creek run off, also because its evil. Bittersweet though because I had some pretty sweet names lined up for it!

Yeah I caught this in Deep creek conservation park in South Australia, off the rocks in salt water, however it was near to a fresh water run off as well.. Ill post some more photos of its bottom and side as well soon.

I actually thought that It could be an axolotl, because it had like 4 pre formed hand fin things.. It was a bottom feeder and its horns raised up and down when it breathed.. devil goat fish
