Cheers guys forgot to put In there that all trout were released besides 1 as it swallowed the fly a bit to much and didn't swim away but the fish was not wasted it was put to good use.

Hey guys just thought I'd share a few pics of what I got up to on the wk end at the local river.first time I have actually caught anything from these spots which made me happy and was good fun.

It was a tasty little feed.i didn't pay much attention at who was at the ramp I was just keen to get out there.when we got back there was a boat in front of us they said they got 3 legal snapper and 2 red bream which I believe they were undersized snapper is there such fish as red bream.?this is when you need fisheries.

So guys went out fishing on Saturday not to the planned destination st Kilda but went over to ardrossan as I was given a few spots and wanted to try them out.so we headed out just after sun rise later than planed but a 4.30 start was early enough.we landed our first snapper just after anchoring it was only a small one so back it went several other small ones were caught and realeased which is a good sign that there is a few around after dropping the bearly pot down my mate was on with a bigger fish got the net ready for when it hit the surface it was bigger than the ones we were first catching

Ok cheers guys just have to go out and see what I can get.

Hi guys wanting to take the boat out for a run this Saturday seems the weather is looking better and better just thinking of going out from St Kilda ,does any one know what is being caught out there lately in the past week or 2 or around that area?Cheers guys

Cheers guys for the info very helpful and probably saved me getting a fine and who knows what else.they are a good design and I'd say they would work pretty good as its the same design as what the pro crabber uses out from st Kilda.i just guess they will sit in the shed until I find a use for them.

Yer didn't think they would be that's why I thought I'd check.got them from a SA store in Murray bridge one day.it is I but stupid if they are selling them if they are not legal to use.

Crispy I think you know the ones I am talking about they are sold as crab nets.and I checked out the fisheries web site and couldn't find any of these nets and there not cray pots as I do have cray pots as well.ill put a pic up tomorrow some time and see what ya think of it.unless there meaning mud crabs I don't know.!
