If you can get hold of some smallish school prawns just melt some real butter on your bbq get it hot (don't burn it) Shove two or three whole (heads and all) prawns on timber scewers lenthwise,when the butter is sissling hot chuck on the prawns,they should dance on the bbq plate,the shells will all blister? and go crunchie,serve with beer. :
  3. now where i come from we dont catch many squid so every time i get to adelaide i will hunt out some fresh ones(Whole) then clean as normal but keep all of the meaty bits,flaps/wings,discard the eyes but keep all the stuff from around them also from around the beak, and the tentercles?. Gidday srick,a very touchy subject.I have receintly been judged in different ways by my friends ,enemies,fellow fishers,and total strangers.I will presume before proceding here the reactions/replies i receive from this post will be along similar lines.[i make no apologies] I have fished inland rivers for goldern perch (callop) and murray cod all my life,(Lets not discuss goldern perch at this stage).I have seen many murray cod caught in many ways,most ways I now totally disagree with since reading/learning/watching and learning to be a caring fisherman,however as recently as last december 07 I

  6. gidday all,I will be comming to Adelaide soon (september)while there I hope to have a go at some bream, L/B only, i have a small collection of suitable small H/B lures about 30mm, a few S/P and gulps what I would like to find out if anyone can help is ,would H/B 55mm stump jumpers be suitable for bream in west lakes,around the port area.?thanks peelipeeli11 :icon_e_confused:
