Station49 33
Sending it back to Daiwa would be a good start, but considering you were attempting home maintenance you may find yourself up for the bill.
giveitall 0
thank Station49, but the intention was just to change to a RCS knob.just my luck.
Ranger 48
Weigh up the cost against that of a new handle.
chunky 0
dont like your chance of getting one that small but you could try an "easy out "bought from a hard wear store, paramount brown`s has them, like i said dont like your chances of getting one that small though,or replace the hole handle,
giveitall 0
sad to say...ithe reel comes with RCS handle. my other daiwa reel was easy to unscrew. i dun wanna attempt to drill it out in the risk of killing the handle.
chunky 0
mmmm mate if i were you ,and iam not fewwww,id send the handle back to dawia and buy a new one that way youd have a spare for the next time:S  :pinch:or better yet send it to me and buy a new one then i`ll have a spare,he he he
giveitall 0
the knob and handle still working perfectly. I guess i will just have to leave it as it is. I take chunky and Ranger 's advice to get a spare since i already bought the new knob.Just disappointed with daiwa's screw, shouldnt they give more thoughts on having better grade screw knowing they promote upgrade parts and multi time removal needed.
