the knob and handle still working perfectly. I guess i will just have to leave it as it is. I take chunky and Ranger 's advice to get a spare since i already bought the new knob.Just disappointed with daiwa's screw, shouldnt they give more thoughts on having better grade screw knowing they promote upgrade parts and multi time removal needed.

sad to say...ithe reel comes with RCS handle. my other daiwa reel was easy to unscrew. i dun wanna attempt to drill it out in the risk of killing the handle.

I m in need help of getting my stripped knob screw off my daiwa. The reel is brand new and the factory had fasten the screw so tightly that i had stripped it and still no luck in getting it off. Can anyone suggest anything i could do it get it off? thanks.

Hi there, I am currently in Yr situation choosing either a Stella or a saltiga. Before deciding, you should decide wat kind of fishing you will using the reel for. A saltiga dogfight or Stella sw18000 is more ideal for popping due to it high gearing ratio. While the saltiga expedition or Stella sw20000 with low gear ratio more suit bottom fishing n jigging.
