Ranger 48 Posted March 1, 2011 Report Share Posted March 1, 2011 I purchased a 9' Heartland for a similar purpose (flats fishing) used it once at West Lakes, and I really didnt like it(I was casting light lures and plastics, not weights). It's just too long for me, and I would prefer something up to around 8' max, as I didn't feel I had the control I was seeking, so it's a new rod which just lives in the corner now attracting dust. I would expect the Tierra to be very similar.This of course may just be my own personal opinion, as I'm sure others are quite happy with them. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
