Saltiga5 3 Posted July 25, 2011 Report Share Posted July 25, 2011 Has anyone got the saltiga 63s or 64 combi jerk rods?I'm looking for an extra rod to suit my saltiga z4500.Going to be used as all rounder, live baiting for kings, mully and jigging plus snapper fishing. Its a rod that grows on you thats for sure!ALTHOUGH because its made for jigging it isnt the perfect bait rod. But when used as a bait rod because its light weight and because its the perfect length in the boat, makes it very deadly on big Snapper!. As a jigging rod its sick due to the action of the blank. The power is deceiving, it loads up fairly easily, but its true power comes when it is fully loaded. In fact its suprising!Its not the perfect live bait rod and not the ultimate bait rod, but as a rod to perform all of those duties you mentioned, its probably your best bet and is a QUALITY ALL ROUNDER! :d/So for what you want to do with it, it will be perfect!.
