Crossing the road

Recommended Posts

The other day my lad and his mate wanted to go fishing, so we went and tried Port Gawler Riverwhen we got out there the place was busy but we got a spot and had a fish but didnt get a bite but plenty of snags ect on the old warf. the water was running fast on the incoming tide and so we moved up the road to fish one of the side creeks.we caught some small mullet that all went back. But when we went to leave the water was over the road and when I looked there was small mullet swimming over the road.we could just pick them up, who needs bait. size=1200http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/ii0JwvqH__19072008007.jpg[/img] size=1600http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/SZZz5qHc__19072008003.jpg[/img] size=1600http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/zoTTTsJc__19072008006.jpg[/img] size=1600http://www.fishyorkepeninsula.com/images/attachments/sApGU5oR__19072008.jpg[/img]

Me and my buddies had a similar experiance, we're in the port one night in a 2.8m tinny just round the corner from the g.i. ramp bout 3 in the morning. The mullet were so thick they were literaly jumping into the boat, laughing in hysterics my buddy whacked down the landing net and got about 20 each go..! we were set for mulloway bait.
