Jakdemo8 1 Posted March 8, 2012 Report Share Posted March 8, 2012 Hi all. Pretty keen to get the rods out this weekend, just need to know where the best place I's to go from the shore. Love chasing salmon and bigger fish but will try for what ever I can get. Judging on the weather this weekend, what would be my best bet? Waits for salmon or something like Mawson lakes for bream/flathead. If any one has any spots/tips/times, they would be appreciated. Cheers. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

grego 0 Posted March 8, 2012 Report Share Posted March 8, 2012 Ive never got a flatty there but theres plenty of bream and the odd mully if you put the hours in soaking live bait. Should b plenty of st about to keep u occupied if u set some berly going. Try the gates at bower rd for a starting point. Or near the bridge at the Bartley tavern.
