Dan C 1
Hi all,I was wondering if tidal movement is the same through the whole water column? I'd guess it flows quicker near the top but maybe not? Would it also depend on the depth? I guess bottom/structure/land would also have an effect?Just curious!Cheers,Dan C
jimbojames 285
Pretty sure it is through the whole water column . If there are any undulations on the sea floor then these will obviously impede the flow and slow it down but i have had sinkers go side ways all the way down and some times so side ways they don't even hit the bottom .
