Mickyj 3,204 Posted February 22, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 22, 2009 yea we caught dozens each maybe 20-30 fish plus on surface flys, nothing big though 15- 25cm range. fought well on 3# was a top day for quantityyeah I had about 25 hits on a gurgler.Only 2 hook ups smallish fish nothing large.Sunday I fished a spot I'm not going back to for a very long while.From over 20 hits twice in a week on a gurgler (in an other spot)to 4 hits on a gurgler nothing even looking at any thing else.very disappointing. Did get a 40cm fish sniff the gurgler but not take it.You could see the fish in close and out further but they didnt want to play .funny in an awful wind cooler morning the fish went off .nothing in a smaller wind .Oh well always next week Quote Link to post Share on other sites
