ufish2 0 Posted October 12, 2009 Report Share Posted October 12, 2009 hey weaver ive just started to make some of my own lures as well im just having trouble with making the bibs,are u just using the blank cds and how do u get the shapes so good do u just use a belt sander. most of the lures i have made have just been poppers but made a few diving lures try get pics up latasome pics of my poppers Quote Link to post Share on other sites
weaver 271 Posted October 14, 2009 Author Report Share Posted October 14, 2009 Those bibs are laser cut mate, others i have just cut rough with the scroll saw then belt sanded to shape using a template that is stuck on the plastic.Get hold of some lexan or polycarb ( same stuff) as this is what you want to be using for bibs especially if your connection to the lure comes off of the bib.Tip for bib shapes is to fold a piece of paper, draw half your bib, then cut it out, you now have a perfectly symetrical bib template.
