solid317 2 Posted January 5, 2010 Report Share Posted January 5, 2010 hi, just before xmas i got myself a shimano eclipse 12 ft telescopic rod with a 6-10kg rating from a sponsors sale for a very low price.i would like to know if it will be much chop for very occasional use, prob once or twice a year? i know in general telescopic rods are fairly crap but i thought that considering i'll rarely use it anyway that it should be up to the job. i'm not sure what i'll target yet but i guess it'll prob mainly be things like flathead, maybe salmon, something bigger if it'll handle it.thoughts are always appreciatedcheers Quote Link to post Share on other sites
