Goldys_Fishin 0
Hi guys, I think thats what my uncle and I went and got out from under the mangroves at cowell. I dont know if there is any mangroves around where you are but if there is and you can brave the 1000's of flies we would go in during low tide and dig around the roots of the mangroves with a fork . From memory they were in less than a foot of sand. they were a great bait, whiting loved it.Goldy
Cats119 0
On some local northern beaches if you dig up under seaweed that has been there a long time you will find worms, they are great bait for YFW, i found 1 spot near pt vincent but they`re not in big numbers. ltfish 0
Hi Cats 19 some time they are a foot or so under the sea weed in the sand.Dig down until you come across a dark layer of decomposed sea weed,They are usually in this area.Summer time they are down quite deep. They like to get down to the moisture in the sand and sea weed.
