watersnake 2 Posted March 4, 2010 Report Share Posted March 4, 2010 I thought I would just let people know why the Mannum fishing comp has been stopped. First reason is lack of water has exposed too many snags and the Commity thinks it's too dangerous because of the ones you can't see. The water being so low makes it hard for the bigger boats to be retreaved. It's easy to lauch any boats but as you guys that use your boats in the sea at low tide, trying to get them out is another story all together on some of the old ramps, some you just can't get them out at all until the tide comes in. Well the river is at low tide at the moment. They said that when the river rises again they will be only to happy to start it up again .Plus insurance premiums would be to high. :cheer: WS Quote Link to post Share on other sites
