surf rod

hey all.need to get a new surf rod, as i dont have one. i dont have alot of money so am either looking for a cheapy or second hand.looking for a 10ft primarily for salmonany hints or advice etc appreciated.cheers

If ya lucky someone might have a second hand 1 for sale in here or if ya gonna look brand new off the shelf I reckon that the Silstar Crystal power tips are good for the money. Pretty tough and cast well and will handle a decent fish. Other wise your probably lookin at lower end shimano or a jarvis walker. Penn also have some budget rods in that size that might suit you.

Mate i just recently bought an abu muscle tip 10ft 5 to 8 kg class thats plenty sufficient for what you want cheap too paid $69 for it thats the go for you a reckon!
