Hi All How do you set up a rig for trawling for snook, how far from the paravane do you have the lure? how far from the boat once you start trawling should the paravane be and what speed do you drive at? I will be fishing just out of Pirie. Any help will be great.

Thanks for your reply. I was at the boat ramp today and a boat came in with 3 LARGE snapper, ( yes on a dodge tide ) said they were only out for 3 hours. I got some good blacks last week all legal size at cockle spit.

Hi All Anyone willing to share a good gps mark for snapper around Port Pirie / Whyalla, I know its a big ask but as I have only had the boat since xmas (my 1st boat ever ) its costing a fortune in fuel trying to find them, if you don't want to share on the forum would you consider a pm. Thanks for your reply's Snapper with the water is it sea or tap water. Brenton how does for taste does rinsing in vinegar compare to the meat being soaked in vinegar in a jar?.

Hi All With a lot of blue swimmers still around I would like to start jarring them, any tips on what vinegar to use ? i have been told you have to boil the vinegar 1st, also been told to use 1/2 sea water and 1/2 vinegar. Any tips would be great.
