thanks guys some great help i did some looking online and seen guys using crimps to atatch leader to jigg,didnt no to go such a huge lb wind on leader will definetly get some.again thanks heaps guys as have never used jigs before want to try get it working like they should.

hey all im heading out to wedge island this september and going to try for sambos in the morning and for the first time we going to try jiging i want to know is it beter to attatch jig to a leader with a swivel or knot.and i have heard people saying that in deep water to wrap a rubber band a few times around the jig then place the hook through once is that the go or shouldnt worry bout the rubber band.any help will be fantastic.thanks

good afternoon all going on sa fishing adventures in september and hope to get my first sambo i got a stella 20000fa reel and tcurve 400 deep jig rod and want to buy some jigs will be fishing out near wedge so will be deep and picked a weekend already with no real current what colour and brand and weight should i go if any one has any luck please let me no will be sweet to hear back

can anyone please help i want to know how long i should be makeing the leader is longer beter than short is 60cm to short ive heard up to 2mtr long.thank you
