gday. just bought a shimano tekota 600 fitted with 50 lb braid.what boat glass rod do you recomend which will make a great combo for bottom fishing for snapper.any sugestions would be great.cheers

gday i use 60lb jinki pato with 150mm twisted dropper loops.that way you can change the size of the hook with ease.and the twisted dropper loops stand straight out.no tangles.i normaly use 8/0 to 10/0 gamakatsu octopus hooks.that size so you dont hook the pickers.works a treat.cheers

try tenderising with mashed up kiwi fruit. works a treat. no more rubbery squid.

they sound like great rods.i have an abu soros stx 40 reel spooled with 20lb braid which i use on my whiting rod. which model would match my reel to the best.305 315 or the 325 looking to cast lures for salmon at waits and parsons as well as around at yallata later this year. what would be the max size lure for each of the models.thanks
