If it was the big white boat you're talking about, I saw it too, but when I got close enough to see who it was, it was a pro crab boat, not a charter boat. WTH was he doing in metro waters?

do yourself a favour & get on a charter. Last time I was up there (2 years ago) I went on a reef charter in 5m seas. We got so many different fish I was buzzing. Snapper, red snapper, pearl perch, trevally, sweet lip & cod. Then we got onto some cobia & some sharks. The sharks were too big to boat. I'm going up there again next May & I'm already counting the days.

Expect a defect notice & $180 fine for the rod holder. Speaking from experience.

I've got a theory on all these shark sightings. Since they banned netting in the Gulfs, the fish stocks in the gulfs have recovered significantly, so the sharks have moved in for a feed. That's what I reckon anyway.

shoot the feral animals... but what the hel do sharks hav to do wiv feral animals???

We went down to Semaphore Saturday arvo, there was a family of Vietnamese people setting up their nets with chicken & red meat. I told them politely they weren't allowed to use that in their nets & all I got back was a mouthful of abuse.

I watched it today. all good.I thought the second half of the show about King George Whiting was interesting.Fishing Victoria's Bass Coast at Inverloch, big local fishing guru Phil stated, " The reason we're catching fish like thisis because of what the state government (Victorian) did in buying back all the licenses. You can see the benifits of stopping people from netting our beautiful inlets.It seems as though everyone can catch fish there now. Most of the fish were reasonably sized 34cm to 40cm and a couple of double headers were caught for good measure.Now that's what I like to see.Next show June 22nd at least thats the date advertised at the end of the show.Don't forgot to watch or (Port fans) tape Fishing Australia tonight.cheers niftrev.

wrong!!!! yep lee has been givin it 2 rex hunts daughter.... as he has been with her for years & is now happly married to her.... pauls wife kristy isnt even related to rexy... so i dont how u came up with that story..... some times things in buisness dont work out...... lee & rex wanna open a new tackle store near paul's & he doesnt want them to......

I suppose she was curious as to what sort of tackle Lee was sporting. ;D
