  1. Exclusive Release For STRIKEHOOK.COM

Hi all well heres my next movie, its from the Callop Classic that was held recently at Cobdogla in the riverlandits taken me a few weeks to edit it down and when i finished i had over 48 minutes of footage, way too much for the net, so this is the condensed version ;)it goes for 16 minutes and will take roughly 25 min to download on broadband, it covers most aspects of the weekend, quality isn't too bad either, when you consider the original file was 3.4gig and i have compressed it down too 102mb :o"I Recommend that you download the lot and watch it all at once" rather than "as she goes" 8) you will also be missing out if you don't have sound ;)the full movie will be put on DVD for those that want to see it and you will need to contact me via IM. It will still be a few weeks away too ::)Finatic will have a copy at his shop for viewing, when ya in having a coffee and chat ;D I'll also get one to Waterboy for the southern members ;)well please enjoy this Strikehook Presentation :Pcheers chuckhttp://www.vimeo.com/1981786
  2. terrific site 8)so much better to belong to a site where the owner actually runs the site and doesn't treat people like mushrooms ;) and with "Real" sponsors on board, it can only go forward :)great work Aarron, the Team and all the sponsors, it's a pleasure to be part of this sitecheers chuck

  3. i use a Stanley knife blade to just open the ring a little, get the old hook in then put the new hook behind it and then spin them round, old hook falls off, new hook into place ;)cheers chuck

  4. Rabbit fur flies are good any time, when wet the fur looks like a fish or insect moving in the waterhave caught many Trout using that flyget hold of a Fuzzy Wuzzy too if you can, another good fly in our local waterscheers chuck

  5. land based or boat?if from a boat use ya bream gear and have some fun if from a beach my fav outfit was always a reel no bigger than a 4500 and a MT6110 rodmany people will tell you to buy 5120's and 6500 reels but they are a real over kill and darn heavy to hold all day fishingcheers chuck

  6. Hi all, well i thought i'd open my account on Strikehook.com with a new movie 8) just finished editing it today, seeing as i didn't go fishing ???Light Line Carp'n Featuring...... CorinnePosted Imagethis one was taken over our Xmas holidays up the Mighty Murray, the temp was over 40C for the week we stayed there and the fishing was just as hot ;)we came upon this massive school of Carp at the entrance to a lagoon that was draining into the main channel, i think they were really hoping to get back in, but with the water so low and with no flood in the immediate future, i can't see that happening ;D Corinne was using Shrimps for bait and was really caning the Carp, me i stuck with the lures and eventually got a 4.98Kg Carp, the bugger had engulfed the lipless crankbait, i also caught a very nice Callop that also must of been living in the lagoon, as it was a very dirty black colour the hook of the day was the TD Daiwa Worm hook size 1/0 a very sharp hook that lasted well with the big Carp being caught on it, main line was 6lb Berkley Fireline with a 10lb Berkley Vanish leaderwe had a ball catching over 30 of those monsters, man you should of seen the mess my boat came home in after that trip, :'( but fishing for 5kg fish on 3kg line is great fun, just ask Corinne ;)well this ones 40mb so you will need to start downloading it and just leave it on the task bar till its finished, well worth a look, so please enjoycheers Chuck Corinnes Carping Tips from Chuck T Seeker on Vimeo.
