i have a mate that goes cray fishing down marion/pondalowie bay and also fishes there and tells me how good the nanny's and b. mory's are and how regular they get themhe tells me how nice they are and promised to take me and cook them up so when i get the chance i will post pics and give them a rating cant wait to go havent fished the bottom end in a boat before.

a timely thread.. im also looking for a 4000-4500 series reel for chasing snapper from the boat..how much was the sienna?? i think ill prob grab one in the next few days!

got 2 siennas 2500's can say they are a good reel had them a while one braid one mono (both are for whiting though)the 4000 would do the job for ya snaps mate good luck.

yeah they get ya cant believe you dont get yfw on em we have used them for years the pinky red ones especially have picked up dozens of yellas and the odd flattie moving across the sand 2 year ago i got a whiting and a small shark assuming bronzie took it right at my feet i crapped me self my uncle lives at james well and has had it happen to him before am gunna take some pics next time i go to show other readers what im on about and hopefully get a result cheers.

just looked up bass yabby i reckon what we are getting is juvenile yabbies if you take off the claw and fully formed tail will take a photo next time i go thanx for your help.

will have to take one next time i go i have tried looking in books,net everywhere we have always just called them clickers but the proper clickers have a claw is that correct will draw a pic and take a photo so you can get some sort of an idea cheers.

hey guys was just wondering when pumping for clickers over ardrossan we come across loads of these things wich are approx 3/5cm long are either white or a pinky red in color centipede style bait are these un formed clickers or do they have a specific name have looked for pics on net to try explain but got nothn can any one help cheers.they are awesome for yfw just dunno what they are called.

red and white yozuri dynamite just ask my mate last weekend pt hughes i call them my mclarens after the old formula 1 car similar red and white out fished him 8-1 he couldnt believe it i have even got snook on my 3.0 off pt vic jetty. just quietly apparently they are being discontinued spoke to compleat angler moonta and havent seen many in local shops. igot approx 8 each of the various sizes i love em that much.

im with u mate grew up loving fishn, camping(proper set up tent style) and most out doory things.now i have my own little family daughter nearly 4 and son now 2 my wife and i have been camping and fishn since both kids were born we book 2 weeks a year up moonta bay after jan school holidays (when everybodys gone back so its quite) and just recently i purchased my first boat wich both the kids love bit of a funny story 2 weeks ago my daughter caught her first fish it was a small st (just legal) out front of the old quarantine station on the rod i brought her for christmas last yr (tackle rats special) i put my sienna reel on it though.funny part to the story was i had put the crappiest lure i had on(expecting to lose on bottom or a snag) cast it for her and told her to hold the rod and give a few cranks occasionally she then hollered "i got one dad" i was like sure you have darl keep winding then, and to my surprise she actually did at first i thought she had some weed but when u see a small rod like that with a st on u know it aint weed she managed to reel most of they way but i had to get him in the boat wasnt going anywhere just quietly had trebbles well into his lups but that was her first fish 1 of hopefully many to come will try post some pics of the day we had cheers guys.

nice catch trying to put up pics of some i got at pt vic a couple weeks ago they are in my photos dont know how to attach to threads though.

i went to a place down there called gym beach and was wading in the water as it was warm. there was a guy fishn about 100mtrs left of me with a fair surf rod he saw i was gettn little mullet and i was throwing them back he asked if he could have one when i caught one i said sure i asked why i quickly caught another mullet then gave it to him i asked what he was chasing again, he said bronzy's i said do u get them here with in 5 minutes he had hooked one no sooner i seen this i stopped wading he ended up with three i'd never seen a shark pulled off a beach before amazing creatures maybe try down there.
